Start Of The School Day:

Nursery Pupils:
The part-time morning and full-time children start the day at 8.45am and enter their classroom through their own external doors where the teacher and LSA will be waiting to greet them.

The part-time afternoon children start their session at 1.00pm.

Early Years Through to Year 6:
The school gates open from 8.15am – 8.50am so the children can come into school for breakfast in their class (see section on Breakfast Club on the website).

   

End Of The School Day:

Nursery Pupils:
The part-time morning children finish their session at 11.30am.
The part-time afternoon children finish their session at 3.00pm.
The full-time children finish their session at 3.00pm.
The children are collected at their own external classroom doors.

There is no Nursery provision on Friday afternoons.

 Early Years Through to Year 6:
The school day finishes between 3.00pm – 3.30pm, depending on the staggered time given to them (this is outlined in the COVID information and paperwork).

At Neyland Community School, we operate the asymmetric week, therefore the school day on a Friday for Early Years to Year 6 pupils finishes at the following times;

  • 12.10pm
  • 12.30pm for those children staying for lunch
  • 3.00pm for those children accessing the after school facility. This is for our key worker parents and carers only and must be booked in advance through the ParentMail booking form – more information can be requested from the school office.
