Welsh at Neyland Community School

Welsh is taught in a variety of ways through fun language activities including games and songs. Language patterns are taught through the local authority schemes such as Ffa la la for Progression step 1 and the MARs EARS programme for Progression Step 2 and 3. 

We aim to instil a sense of pride in being Welsh and the importance of Welsh in not only our community but in our everyday lives.  As a staff we are all committed to raising the profile of Welsh in our school by focussing our attention on Welsh speaking practice alongside our learners. Strengthening our cultural heritage and sense of Welsh identity.
