Neyland Community Ysgol Senedd
Ysgol Senedd is a pupil voice group at Neyland Community School that helps the children exercise their right to express their opinions and be listened to (Article 12 of the UNCRC).
Children from Years 1 to 6 are welcome to apply by presenting their 'manifesto' to their class and 2 representatives are chosen – one by the class and one by the teacher.
The School Parliament is run by Mr Dow and will meet regularly to discuss events and actions. The aim of this group is for the children to have a voice and participate in bettering our school community for all.
Our Ysgol Senedd have worked with their classes to explain what the Four Purposes look like when we are learning, and they have made some actions too. Click on the film, made by the School Parliament, to find out more!
