The Harbwr - Emotional
At The Harbwr, we recognise that emotional wellbeing is fundamental to learning and development. We provide a nurturing, predictable environment where children feel safe, supported and understood.
Emotional support includes:
- Nurture-based and trauma-informed approaches that help children feel secure and ready to learn
- Social Use of Language Programmes (SULP) to support understanding of emotions, social rules and interactions
- Individual and group wellbeing interventions that develop emotional regulation, resilience and self-awareness
Our staff build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, helping them to recognise and manage their emotions in positive ways. Children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a positive self-image, knowing that their feelings are respected and supported.
